Feedback analysis – What is it?

Almost every company today has a variety of customer feedback options through which end users can provide feedback to the company.
These opportunities are a great source of information gathering and, if used properly, can significantly simplify the development work of any company.

Unfortunately, it is seen time and again that there is not enough time in the company to systematically analyze the feedback and draw the necessary conclusions, so that this source of information is often used little or not at all for product development and marketing.

How does a feedback analysis work?

Feedback analysis changes this by identifying the main positive and negative points from the user feedback at regular intervals and summarizing them on one page.
In addition, a further page is given with recommendations for action on how, from an expert’s point of view, it is possible to take user feedback into account in the best possible way in product development.

Compared to other activities, the feedback analysis is therefore not a single, completed measure, but an ongoing measure that serves long-term and sustainable product optimization.

The feedback analysis answers these questions

  • How do users like the visual design of my interface?
  • Is there anything about my product that annoys or excites my users?
  • What change requests do my clients have?
  • What general usability problems does my product have?
  • Does the user want to use my product?
  • Where do problems (e.g. errors, waiting times, getting “lost”) occur when using my product?
  • What feedback do we receive about our product?
